A lot of people swear on Lucas Engine Oil Additive to stop the Legend from smoking. I used a bit ago, and it worked for me. I changed my oil about 2500 miles ago, and realized that I burn up almost a quart every 1000 or so. I didn't put in the Lucas when that change occurred, but I put it in instead of the oil. There was also a thread about using a combo of GM transmission and Synchromesh products to get rid of hard to shift gears. I tried this a few months ago, and didn't notice any difference. I couldn't shift from 4th to 3rd. I was taking a road trip this weekend, and was playing around on the freeway w/an RSX Type S, and lo and behold, the tranny made the shift! I was a bit amazed, so over the next 400+ miles, I kept doing it, and it worked. Synchomesh solution =
