//Camera
Not everybody has a DSLR or even a digital camera. No matter what you have set your camera to the best quality you have, the higher resolution Jpegs are perfect for the internet however if you have the option to use RAW you may want to however your file size will triple.

If your camera has these setting and you know how to use them I highly suggest these over any auto function. (auto functions take away quality for the convienence)
// A priority
This allows you to ONLY adjust the f/stop, with the shutter speed being adjusted by the camera for the light available. F1.8 will alow more light in and also have a very narrow depth of feild while f8 or higher will let less light in and but with a greater depth of feild. Choose what type of picture and set the camera to accomodate for that

// S Priority
this allows you to adjust the shutter speed while the camera adjusts the apature acording to light. faster speed of course less light but less streaking. slower shuter speed more streaking and more light...

// M (manual)
this allsows you to adjust both f stop and shutter speed

//Lighting
This is esential. if you want something studio you willneed external lights and flashes. pick your lights and white balences accordingly and if the situation calls for it is best to bounce light off a white wall cealing or a white sheet . avoid using the pop up flash as this will give very HARSH lighting and will show your swirl marks.
