What I was really trying to do was encourage everybody to get involved in any way they can, be it Regionally or Nationally. There are a ton of great people on this forum (Tyson has met most of 'em
) and attending meets is the best way to break the ice since we're all there for the same reason.
As far as me personally, yes, I did plan most of the event this year, and Tyson and Dave helped me a TON, but this is not about me planning this event...this is about US planning this event. I like how we did it last year by posting a poll for the forum to vote on a region, and then posting another poll for a city within that region. We had decided on Vegas for 07 when we were in Tulsa in 06, and it just so happened that the poll confirmed that.
