Relink time for an Autronic after ignition off-on cycle is 1-3 seconds. Some cheap aftermarket ecu's have relink times of up to two minutes.The price advantage of the cheap units is often lost in extra tuner time.I am used to tuff that works, thats all.

I have the NSX service manual, let me have a look in there and compare diagrams for the differences. Maybe Kenso can whip out some of his dealership print screens.
