andy to remove the wind deflector there is a plastic piece that covers the 2 nuts holding it. remove both plastic pieces and unscrew the nuts, then you have to move the wind deflector back and forth to get it to come out.
Just wanna say I did tihs in the dark took a little over 2 hours but o well no biggie I got time to mess around now.
Only problem I saw with this DIY is it could use a couple more steps, andy is a example of what I mean by. Also it works nicely now, only problem I have is I broke a stud that holds the window deflector... so that means I have no window deflector, is it that big of a deal? will the oem sunroof cover cause the jackhammer noise to go away? If so I gotta buy one asap.
