I'm wanting to put a CarPC in my Legend, so I'll need to opt for a touch-screen model. Take a look at the Xenarc or Lilliput over at the mp3car.com store. There's lots of selections there and I think a 7" may actually fit, but I'm just speculating at this point.
Correct, it is not a touch screen. I have yet to stumble upon any touch screens that will fit the bezel though. Most touch screens are 7" and have a good bit of framing around the actual screen. My 6.5" farenheit fits perfectly vertically. It actually fits so perfectly, I don't have the screen secured in any way at all. Its wedged in there all by itself and it has yet to even budge.

I'm considering putting in a pionner N2(a flip up navi). My brother is willing to give it to me the only issue being it may need a new motor which is small potatoes as opposed to getting the unit $500 new. I'd keep the radio screen in except to input driving directions on the touch screen. Still not sure though. I'm thinkin about it. Much cheaper than a carputer.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once
