Well if it falls through you are welcome to buy mine. Shipping to australia shouldn't be too horrible. The intake runners of the manifold should be about the same but I bet the plenum is smaller (bad) and the path is much more tortuous. The turbo throttle body is smaller and in a slightly different area. It is contained inside the manifold/intercooler setup whereas the non turbo TB is located before the manifold.
You don't need a turbo to run the engine. It is MAP based so the car will run with no turbo. So you can get it going and then take it down to a performance shop once it starts. I designed a T3 adaptor which will allow you to use any T3 flanged turbo (heaps of them) on the stock manifold. If they charge you more than $130 to do it they are ripping you off.
Unfortunately the wing turbo broke and would cost $1000 to have rebuilt as it would have to be custom since honda don't have parts for it. So I bought a $250 subaru turbo which was way more fun.
