OK. So, as you may or may not know, my 94 legend has been experiencing the typical cooling system/over heating problems, blah blah blah. Well, this is completely different....

My temp gauge was normal. I was driving in D3 (automatic, obviously), at about 40 mph, going steady and all that. Suddenly, my spedometer dropped down to zero, like the line had been cut or something, and the light in the dash that tells you what gear you're in started flashing at D4, but stayed lit at D3 all at the same time. I shifted up to D4, not having any idea what to do, but the light kept flashing. The spedometer kicked back in within maybe 15 seconds and stayed working. I didn't know what was going on, so while stopped at a light, I shifted between all gears, but the D4 light kept flashing. I just drove home, since I was only about a block away. I had to turn the car off to get out and check the mail, and when I got back in and turned it back on, the light had stopped flashing.

WHAT THE HELL is that about??????????????????
