True, they're fun to play with on off season though and accurate enough to get an idea where you're at. The sole reason I picked it up was to measure my 0-60's.
It's hard to find a place where you can measure an accurate 1/4 mile. One since there aren't many flat 1/4 mile stretches you can test on to get an accurate reading. And two, you usually end up breaking 100mph when testing and in most states thats considered wreckless opp. Unless you can find an area close to home such as industrial parks, closed track, or inoperable air strip, forget about testing the 1/4 mile. Just go hit up the track.
