Why don;t you ask them for a sample so you can see how the kit actually looks like. For example how it compares to your expectations. Also ask them if they could send you a sample, like send you the actually kit but not in the woodtrim, maybe in cardboard or something so you can see how it fits. I've seen some wood kits, and some really look like
They are not cut out nicely, and accurately and some are too thick giving it a tacky look. Just my 2 cents
