Like grumpy said, go with a Zex kit and stick to the instructions. Nos kit 5123 was a universal 6cyl kit they had when I bought mine-Zex didn't exist yet. It works well too. No more than 75hp on the Zex and 60 shot with the NOS. Your car wont have any issues unless you deviate from the instruction manual.
I suppose thats why I call myself Dv8.
I used a bayou chip back when I first sprayed, it ran pig rich, nitrous ran well and safe.
Later when I started to push more nitrous I used an SAFC to increase fuel on the dyno and with a wideband, It only had one programmable map. I would change the settings between N/A and nitrous every time I wanted to do either or.
The SAFC II came out with 2 programmable maps that could be switched on the fly, which made it easier.
I went direct port and it never worked out the way I had planned. If you want a wet nitrous system, again stick with the Zex.
Around 100-125shot timing retard was required but couldn't be altered(Telion & SR5guy weren't making chips yet) so I went for the EMS and never looked back.
The 316hp/345tq I used a .55 jet, and could have gone higher as it showed no signs of a ceiling, but I wasn't about to get greedy.
