I agree with everything stated above. I have never driven a hand pnp intake manifold or heads to compare, but I was very pleased with the results of my EH on my Type II. Once I pull apart that motor I will post pictures so you guys can comapre the differences between the EH and the guys that have hand pnp. You can tell just by looking that the workmanship and quality is alot better, not only that, but the biggest difference is that with EH, everything is equal. I was quite impressed with how much low end my car had after the EH, the throttle felt alot snappier, not as slugish or delayed as it was with my stock Type I. Plus, when I would just "cruise" I would still get very decent mileage (20 city 24-26 highway on 93 octane). When I put the WR intake on coupled with the EH, I felt another difference and shift in the low end power, but the largest benefit of adding the intake was up top, ESPECIALLY when cruising at 70 and then kicking down and running from 70-100, passing power was NO problem after that. These were my results as far as driving, I wish I had gotten to dyno that set up. My exhaust was stock aside from a gasket match on the manifold gasket and manifolds themselves. All this was with a Type I ecu and transmission and a JDM Type II engine. So given the current mods available to us G2 guys, coupled with a quality EH job, you could get some decent gains for your $. I would spend my $ getting the EH over the hand pnp, but if you are more inclined to hand pnp yourself, by all means go ahead, you will save $, but for you guys that arent so diy inclined or just dont have the time, I say go with the EH. Be prepared to spend about $450-$650 for EH and have a budget to replace other parts along the way just in case. Just my $.02
