'Twas the nicest day of the year so far... high 80's, even near the bay. Hence the major traffic jam you see in the pics heading to the beach.
Props to Ken for running beverage patrol along the highway (CA-1, or the PCH as you SoCal'ers know it) as we sat at a standstill.
