Sorry for taking so long finally get this GB going, but as I am sure you know I have been spending every free minute I have organizing and working towards my overhaul.
A few months ago I had worked out a deal with the Extrude Hone facility in PA and discussed a few concerns I had towards the service because a member here by the name of Kenso had a similar service done about 3-4 years ago and was not 100% satisfied.
The Representative at the facility was very understanding and offered to make good on a not so positive experience (Thank you Kenso!), therefore I have been given the chance to offer the Acura Legend community an Extrude Hone service for the upper portion of the IM for just $400! The original price as advertised is between $700 and $800, roughly.
As you will soon see I have included some photos of my manifold after the job was complete. The powder coating job was done at a place called Boneheadperformance in PA, a shop just a few miles away. I highly recomend doing the service first then followed by some fresh powder!
I almost forgot to mention, for those of you doing a complete engine job like my self, I sent along my OEM gaskets to be matched with the intake ports. Once etched and matched I sent them over to my machinest who then matched up the ports on the heads them selves.
All we need is 4 participants to make this GB happen. Once we have 4 people I will send out payment instructions and so forth. The $400 does not include shipping or like I said powder coating. This price is for an Extrude Hone service on the intake manifold only.
Here is an interesteing thread related to the Extrude Hone process and benefits.
