trouble installing D3 w/ loc

okay, here's what i've run into. i have a 91 Legend Sedan LS with the standard BOSE system. I bought the car without a headunit.

so now i'm installing a pioneer avic-d3 nav unit using a universal honda radio harness and a line output converter. my problem is that i cannot get the front speakers to fully play. the rear speakers work just fine and i can adjust them using the LOC.

the front speakers are a different story. the front left barely has sound coming out. the front right doesn't work at all. now if i read the faq correctly we only have one amplifier for 4 speakers right?

is it possible that the amp is shot? could it just be a wiring dilemma someone along the line? has anyone encountered a similiar problem?

i don't have a factory h/u to plug into the factory harness to check everything. furthermore, i soldered all my connections. including the wires going into the LOC. they were falling out after test fitting so i just dropped some solder in there to secure them.

so before i cut, lose length of wire and possible my LOC, and resolder, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong here?

thanks in advance
