Hey just as friendly advice, you shouldn't do the "different note" thing in someone else's thread, especially about an unrelated topic. That's 'thread hijacking' and is a in forum etiquette. Do a search in the OEM parts/Parting out sections of the forum and if you don't find anything then post up a thread of your own. GL with finding your part.

OP...in my amateur mechanical experience the only benefit of the iridium plugs is that they last longer than copper, and marginally longer than platinum (in my old A4). I use iridium plugs currently and there is no difference in power and very small difference in fuel economy (bl420 is right it's only because they are newer, not 'better'). Next time around I would probably go with platinum (similar longevity, but cheaper). The only plugs that even have the potential to give you more 'power' are the newer 'pulsed' plugs. But I am personally still not convinced on that technology yet, especially when it's being used with 'normal' gas (not 100+ racing fuel). Perhaps GSM and other more mechanically experienced members will have more info on these plugs. BUT, they are $125 or so for a set for the Legend which (to me) makes them not worth it at all.

EDIT: Read pgs 2-3.
