Tomorrow is the big day! Hello from the Bonneville 100 Open-Road Race in Wendover, Nevada.
100 miles at 105 miles per hour! There are 5 cars in our class this year - last year there were only two of us when we ran the 100 mph class.
Gotta get up bright and early to line up at the pre-grid and then to the starting line. The green flag comes at 8:00 Pacific time. The coupe passed tech inspection today with flying colors. She's got a full tank of Premium, dash-mounted GPS, fire extinguisher, and plenty of horsepower-adding stickers.
I took a quick glance at the grid sheet and I think I'm driving the only Honda vehicle in the entire event... and I
guarantee the only car in the race with 329,000 original miles.

We're surrounded by a bunch of new Corvettes.
Pics and vids to come. Just some teasers for now, from the salt flats this afternoon. We drove out on them for a little bit! Last year they were under water so we couldn't do that.
^ "Tech" speed means if I exceed 124 I get DQ'd.
See ya at the finish line! I might even take the old beater up to the redline.
