The race was this morning! I have TONS of stories, videos, and pictures to share but it'll have to wait until I get back to Phoenix. I will create a separate thread.
Suffice it to say that today was a real adventure. The coupe took a licking and kept on ticking, blasting through the gears to 120 mph at times and coming in at 105 mph average, as predicted, on both 50-mile legs of the race. We left before the awards ceremony to get back to Salt Lake, but I'm supposed to get a call tonight to find out the final standings!
I think I might have nudged the redline a couple of times while I was getting up to speed! That's a first for me.
