Now that I have the SDS in, I can look at my air temperature, like, WHENEVER I WANT. When I was taking it to the gas station the other day, it was 95 deg. F outside. I was driving about 45mph, the engine was fully warm, the radiator fans kicked on, and the a/t never went above 105 deg. F. Before the fans came on, it was staying around 97-101 deg. F. I'm definitely seeing less heat from the radiator than I thought.
The a/t sensor is in the tube, right before the blue 90 deg. elbow at the TB. You can see it in the pic. Just thought I'd share my little experiment. |
