My question could be a bit long so please bear with me.
So I have been back in Knoxville for some time now after graduating from a fairly expensive culinary school in the Northeast and I am growing tired of the Southeast and the South in general. What I am wondering, and have been for quite sometime now is how is it on the opposite coast?
Every time I see a show about the Pacific Northwest it seems like the place is a pretty good place to live if you work in the food industry. The seafood, wine, organics, farm to table places and all that comes with that. I'm sure that what I see on tv are just highlights so I want to know from the people who live out there what it is like and not just food wise but living quality, job market, cost of living all that BS that goes along with the possibility of relocating to the Pacfic Northwest.
I want to know your opinions good or bad and don't sugar coat it love it hate it. I want your opinions and honest answers. I suppose i need to come and visit just to see for myself as I have always wanted to go out that way and check it out.
