well you are right.....considering i've been the talk of the posts.....there was no japanese or american car that could compete with the legend as far as a combination of sport and luxury......the rx-7 and supratt were both available for around the same price, but they are too sporty i'm guessing and not in the same class. i mean basically, was there even a japanese or american car available back then in stick that was considered a luxury sedan (i'm talking about the gs)? now as far as german goes...there was, but i'm sure you guys don't want to hear my opinion since it wouldn't be in the same price range. You can't compare german to japanese...as far as price goes.
also as i've stated before....times have changed. definitions of sport, luxury, sport/luxury, etc have changed. i think we on the boards still hang on to the fact that, "well back in the day the legend was great and still looks good today". which is cool by me, but technology has changed and there are better cars out there. pretty soon guys we are going to be getting smoked by neons in the 60 and 1/4.
