well i must say..
reading the first post that started this all...as long as it was...I have drawn some conclusions.
First of all, if you are TRULY a nice guy, you aren't just trying to get into a chicks pants.
Yes guys have needs, but if thats your one and only goal in your "being nice" little do you know but you are that asshole in disguise and you dont even know it!
Second, not every girl goes for the asshole. I've played that game more than once and now when I find out this person led me to believe they are not who they really are...I dump them. Its that easy.
I rationalize it down to this: If you can't be yourself, then I dont get to know the real you. If I dont know the real you, I dont know you at all. If you hide its because you have something to hide. And the risk just isnt worth it. Personally I want to KNOW my boyfriend. Not pretend I do.
Thirdly, some girls are assholes too. Probably some of you men have been burned. Heck who hasnt right?
My advice is to keep your head up and dont be blinded by some hot thang that you wanna screw and end up rushing into something before you know what this persons really about.
Thats where guys make their mistake. If you are really that nice guy, you'll want to know her better first anyhow. The more you know, the better equipt you are to make a decision on whether she is real or not. Time is your friend not your enemy...
and if during that time she runs off with an asshole...shes not at a point in her life when she can SEE a person for their true worth, and your better off anyhow. Shed probably end up taking advantage of you anyway.
If shes a good person, she'll see you for a good person.
So keep hope all you nice guys ....
