...I'm new. What can I say. Oh. Did I mention that I am mechanically inclined? I screw up everything. But, before I screw this up...
I have read all the posts, and think I have a pretty good idea of what to look for, and understand the light sequence. I went to the Helm site, but, I'm not sure WHAT I'm looking for there. I saw several items in the DIY section, but, have no idea which one I need to read the codes.
I just bought the car today, and the check engine light has come on. The seller had no clue (go figure, it was his son's car and been sitting for about a month). What, EXACTLY, do I need to get the codes? Thanks for the help.
