It's heavy, more drivetrain loss as mentioned. It's not meant to be a super fast car, just a quick car with some luxuries. Sorta like the Legend when it was released in its' time. By no means a sportscar but quick enough.
The RL seems to be engineered more towards track performance, not drag racing (straight line racing). I'd bet it would hold its' own very very well on the track.
