I know we have 1 in the DIY section, but the pictures don't work and it's not very helpful at all. There has also been an increase of people wanting to try this. Plus i'm kinda bored.
I'll divide this DIY into 2 sections.
1. glove box removal
2. A/c cabin filter removal
1. Glove box removal.
Step one:
You will have to remove the passangers side courtesy light assembly. This is held in by 3 plastic screws. Once you remove the 3 plastic screws, wiggle it around a little bit to free it from the hook in the back.
The light assembly will drop. Now unclip the harness for the light.

Next it's time to remove the glove box. Remove all 4 screws with a philips head screw driver.

Remove the 3 clips that hold in the black fabric on the glove box. I used a flat head screw driver to pop them loose.

you'll need to unclip the white glove box clip. What it's for I HAVE NO IDEA. I'm pretty sure it's located right there.
Congrads... you have removed the glove box.
Part 2: A/C cabin filter removal.
step 1
Automatic climate control: you will have a relay in the blue circled part
Manual climate control will have nothing.
Step 2
You will look for a piece of metal. Please look at the WHOLE picture to get a better feeling of it's location. This is where most people get lost. it's EXTREMELY easy to find.
step 3
You will now remove 2 screws that hold it in. Screws are located on the top and bottom of the long metal part (circled in green)
step 4
You will now see the brown cabin filter. There will be a loose piece you can pull on. Warning: it might crumble apart. Pending your location, driving conditions and age, the filter will have collected A LOT or a little debree.
