The front sway bar has 4 points of attachment. They are 2 u-clamps that hold it to the frame, and the outer attachments. It is the u-clamps that dry up. From memory only so there could be errors, I believe that the plastic splash pan has to come free, then you will see the u-clamps as they are annodized goldish in color. There are two fasteners for each clamp. When both clamps are free, you can push the rubber bushings off to one side or the other, grease the bar with SILICONE GREASE (not regular grease) and then slide the bushings back. Then bolt the clamps back on. It took me about 40 minutes, if that, to do both and it cured the noise. The noise moves along the bar and into the control arm so it is very hard to know where it comes from by listening. It sounds like the whole front end on one side has gone bad when that bushing grabs the sway bar.
