I'm not sure how many degrees the chip advances the timing. I think that the timing alterations have as much to do with the hp/tq gains from the chip as the fueling changes do. BTW, Willie does actually make chips for the 5/6 spds. I got mine from him last summer. It was Got2lovme that only sold auto chips. $400 is a lot, but your next option is dropping 3 times that on an AEM EMS.
