Check engine light, always on.. sigh
1993 L Sedan
you know, that bright yellow light that blinds you and makes you crap your pants at 11:30 pm on a 22 mile backroad? yea, that light. Well, that light has been on for 2 years now. I want it off LOL. I took it to 2 local mechanics and they didnt know what it was. The local dealership wants 200 bucks to diagnose the problem, then 125/hr to fix. NO.
One mechanic suggested that it might be the pvc valve? I dont have any type of problems with the engine. 200k on it, change the oil every 3k and have all the maintenance done at the proper intervals. I do notice a tad of white smoke about once a month puff out of it, but thats about it.
Any help would be appreciated, short of telling me to pull the bulb out of the dash.
