I paid additional $398 to re-paint my hood + 2 fenders cause 2 dents on my hood have been bugging the crap out of me for the past 3 years now..so its a relief but just the way they put the bumper back together (all crooked, rush type job) and some of the prep work in the paint I can see some ghost images of some nicks I had prior to the paint job still kinda showing thru on the new one. I swear if I knew how to paint a car ...the paint job would be straight disgusting! (in a good way)

Not that I'm telling you to do this, but I have a cousin who had his vehicle painted back in...1995? by a shop that came HIGHLY recommended. I would NEVER want to sell anything to my cousin, because he is friggin' nit-picky. When I saw his vehicle, I was like WOW! That paint job looks real good: No tape lines, no swirl marks, no ripples...
Well. He opens a door. Two drips, and you had to get on your hands and knees to see them. Open another door...two more drips. A streak too, if you got on your back and looked. He pops the hatch...Three drips, small, itty bitty drips, along the bottom edge. Again, no NORMAL person would have noticed. The door jambs were beautiful. The hood, engine bay, etc: Gorgeous. But he found the only flaws that were anywhere, and it drove him NUTZ.
He went back and complained. The owner was like O_o, and wanted to ask "are you serious?" After a lot of bitching, the owner said he could have the drips filed down, and no one would know any better, it was an acceptable technique. Not to my cousin. My cousin leaves, pissed.
Literally, my cousin went in there for a month, every day to complain about the poor workmanship. It got to the point that the owner took a few days off apparently to avoid him, so my cousin complained to the manager for a couple hours on those days.
When the owner got back, he waited for my cousin and said "You paid X for this paint job, and nothing I have offered you will make you happy...what do you think this job SHOULD have cost?" My cousin said it looked more like a $3000 job than a $4000 job...The owner pulled out his checkbook, wrote him a check for $1000 and said please don't ever come back.
SO
If you have the time, at least go back and bitch once. Or twice. Or 20+ times.
