If you want to do this, then this is what you can do.

Go to Walmart, pick up a box of dark (35% and below-it will say on the box). They also sell the tint kit which consist of a blade, squeege, and possibly a spray water bottle. Some of these kits come with a solution in the bottle but if get one that doesn't don't worry about it. You can use soapy water or windex.

All the materials above will cost anywhere from $8-$15.

Tint has a clear film on the sticky side. Before cutting/shaping your tint, find the sticky side first. A little trick I use: grab the corner of the tint and put scotch tape on the front and back side of the tint and then pull apart. This will seperate the tint from the clear film. The sticky side will be laid on the glass so remember that.

Now, I removed the lights from my car so this makes this real easy.

Lay a rectangle piece of tint on the light and start trimming to the shape. When done, start seperating the tint but at the same time have someone spray the solution on the sticky side. Tint is really sticky and if it wrinkles or touches another part of the tint (while dry) it will stick together.

So, as you'r pulling apart the tint, make sure it's semi-soaked in solution, then lay it over the lens and then squeege the water out. Be gentle so that you don't move the tint around. When done, finish off the trim, get a blow dryer (not necessary) heat it up for about 5-10 minutes and re-install.

BTW, this is just my method. I tinted windows on my car when I was younger (too poor to pay for prof. job) so there's other ways to do this. Just GOOGLE "tinting" and you'll find websites on how to tint.

Oh yea, it looks pretty good in the daytime. I just got to work about 1/2 hour ago and now that it's light outside I can see it came out pretty good. I'll snap some pics when I get home this afternoon.

ok good deal.. thx for the info.. much appreciated =D imma have to try this when i have some time lol... cant wait >=)
