Some more pics today. Only had a few hours to work on it, I had to go to the dealer's auction tonight. Have a few FYI's, sorry if this has been covered before. 1. the lower differential bolts are shorter on the RL. 2. the left side engine to transmission brace does not line up properly.
The bolts for the two bottom differential to oil pan bolts are about 2mm longer on the Legend. The threads in the RL oil pan are less deep, therefore I had to use some washers and a lock nuts. It's a good thing I noticed, because if I wasn't paying attention I could have socked it down with the impact gun and cracked the oil pan.
The left side engine to transmission brace will not line up. The oil pan casting is different. I have to grind about 3-4MM off of the part of the bracket that mounts to the oil pan and it should work, find out tommorow.
The transmission bolt hole that doesn't line up... I might make a cover plate for this - thats probably too OCD for me though.
