The legend Y-Pipe bolted right up to the 3.5, no questions asked. I'm beginning to wonder if the motor is in fact wider because everything from the 3.2 lines up well.
Got the intake manifold cleaned up nicely. I dont have time to P&P it

, lets see how this works out for now. Automotive paint gun cleaner works great to break up the carbon, but it made me high
Installed 3.2 coolant pipe from the thermostat housing and and the outlet onto the back of the head so the coolant hose nipples would be there for the fast idle valve.
Made an adapter for the cam/crank sensor using two female ends, one cut from the 3.2 crank sensor and one cut from the RL wire harness (already cut from junkyard). Soldered toghether and shrink-wrapped.
The connector for the throttle position sensor (tps) on the 3.2 throttle body/manifold addembly interferes with the 3.5's right timing cover. It doesn't physically touch it, but there would be no way to install the connector. I had to install the 3.5 throttle body because it's TPS sensor is angled in the other direction. Problem is that the 3.5 throttle body has the port for the air boost valve blocked off. Does anyone know what that does and if it is important? If not, I guess I will be finding out

.
