'06 Accord EX-L 5MT and Porsche 911

I still come around this forum every now and then....I'm more of a reader now and don't post as much. I still enjoy reading about everyone's Legend and am glad to see so many great cars on this site. I still have my '93 Sedan but sadly I think it is going to be sold sometime soon. I will be sure to post it up here before trying to sell it around here in Austin. My Accord has been keeping me busy; it has been a great car but I still enjoy driving my Legend every now and then. Here are some pictures of my Accord to date. I have added a flowmaster 60 exhaust, short shifter adapter, RSX shift knob, Parrot bluetooth phone system, Sound system consisting of kicker comp subs and alpine speakers, oem foglights installed by me, window tint, and an iPod adapter. New wheels and tires are in the plans as soon as I burn through the stock rubber.

Parrot bluetooth system mounted in the ash tray since I don't smoke

Microphone for Parrot is mounted at the top of the A-pillar

Nice ride Sean! How come you think the Legend will be up for sale? You can't sell that car - it's been in the family since day one!

Hondas, Porsches and classics. I like it.

Exhaust looks pretty good, I really like the "aggressive OEM" look.

Thanks Tyson. I've enjoyed seeing the progress on your recent acquisitions. Your cars always look great! We are thinking about selling the Legend because the paint is gone from the roof, hood, and trunk. My dad doesn't want to spend the money to repaint it. Since he is getting a new car when the '09 models come out he wants to get rid of a piece of his fleet.....something about owning 8 cars bothers him, haha. It will be really sad to see the '93 go. That thing still runs like new!

I'll put up some more pics of the '66 911 when I get a chance. I'm going to clean it up tomorrow and I'll shoot a few after it has a fresh coat of wax.

Thanks. I like the exhaust as well. Sounds sporty, nothing like a rice rocket and doesn't look like a fart canon.

Is that a 2.7L carrera in the background? Classy. Nice accord too.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

It's a 1966 Porsche 911. It's a 2.0L. Here's a few pics of the 911....it's unrestored and took first place as well as people's choice at the last concourse we entered in.

It sure is. The first year of the 911 was 1965. Ours is a 1966 so it is a early example of a 911. There were very few cars of this year out there, it's a lot of fun to drive. It really comes alive over 5k rpm and sounds amazing. We drive this car harder than we drive our Legend, it loves to run.

I got it at my Acura dealer for about $40. It fit with out modification. I just unclipped the shift boot and then unscrewed the stock knob. The RSX knob came with a coupler to fit on the boot for a finished look. It just screwed onto the stock shift lever. Very simple. Thanks for the comments!
