Just some fun facts..
The 4.6 liter, 319 hp Ford Shelby GT slots between the 300 hp Mustang GT and the 500 hp Ford Shelby GT500. It is essentially a retail sale version of the Hertz rental-only Ford Shelby GT-H, except a manual transmission is available. Other differences include the deletion of the rear spoiler, a retro hood scoop in place of the CS6/8 Shelby hood, and silver versus the gold stripes, with the car available in either white or black. Things are standard GT fare inside, with a little Shelby jewelry added. All interiors will be black, and Shelby mods consist of machined-aluminum sill plate badges, Shelby GT floormats, and an aluminum number plate on the I.P. that proclaims the car to be officially produced by Shelby Automobiles and its Shelby serial number. The Shelby GT500 pwns this car, (not the Shelby GT Cobra Mustang) as the most powerful factory-built Mustang in history (stock 450-500BHP), more powerful than the 1969 Mach 1 428 Super Cobra Jet or even the legendary 1969 Boss 429. PS - I don't really care for mustangs at all, I just have a really close friend who owns a GT so I get to hear alot about them. Who cares what they think - it's a beautiful car. The buyers of that car are not comparing them to M3's or Legend. They bought them because they wanted a Mustang. Do we have to compare every car built to a Legend?
Beautiful pics by the way. I do prefer it in black thought, but it is really a pretty car - way better looking then the previous version.

nice pics alex, and i agree with Qboro, why does every thread with pictures of another car, someone has to come along and try to compare it to other cars.
Drew, im sorry, but why must you constintley shit on the legend? im sure there are plenty of beemer forums that would welcome a young legend hater like yourself. a car is a car people, this is a nice peice of american design. The new mustang model is one of the greatest since the 60s-70s era, i hated every mustangs looks until they released the new one. anyways, keep up the photography Alex! |

Well said, I thought its just messed up ppl always have sumthing negative to say, Drew came and called the shelby ugly, and anyone with any eyesight can see, its a fucking beautiful example of a mustang. I didnt see the need for the thread shit so i pointed out that the shelby looks a whole lot better than his m3. He then proceeded to call the legend a "shitbox", if he feels so then why is he here? I really dont get it....
On another note, why is there so much fighting, hating and critisizing in this forum? Me and mike talk about this constantly, and really dont see the need for it. Too many times, someone starts a thread and the first response is negative. It really creates a bad atmosphere, and i have even found myself falling into it sumtimes. Anyone agree?
