I will take the pics of the Performance parts i am just kind of stuck right now.

Thanks man

So i got the engine back from the shop , trying to replace front seal and the cranshaft sprocket would not come off, second the the original engine doesnt have a CPS that mean the oil pump is different but i can still use it no problem.
Now i need to lower the compression to somewhere between 8.5.1 to 9.1.1 ,then i did some research on SF to find out what headgasket to use some say 1.3mm,1.6mm,2.0mm,2.5mm and 3mm which is to much .
the 3mm is to tick and it will be fun puting the T belt on and the ARP studs.
the 2mm and 2.5mm are about 360$ which i dont need cause i am not trying to run 18lbs.
So i decided to get the GTE headgasket which is 1.3 or 1.4mm but nobody seems to know the right tickness!!!
I ordered the gasket and they brought me the wrong one ,so i reorder it this afternoon let see what happen now!!!!
As for the parts i am thinking about selling it to my buddy and buy the BL 2.5 kit which is more money, but i wanna do it right the first time.
The Turbo needs a rebuild that will cost me 1400$ per Precisoin when i call them ,because it's a DBB nobody sells a rebuilt kit for it except Garrett and Precision !
that a price of a brand new Turbo ,i can get a GT35 for 900$ shipped brand new.
That's why i am thinking about buying the whole kit and be done with it.
I will keep you guy posted

Very nice project.

Luxury sedan with power to back it up is the best!

Good luck with it.

I so wish I could dive into projects like that.

Looks like your working hard, fastest progress I've seen documented here.

Ok thanks i have a lot of work to do man!!! still haven't pull the engine out yet!!!!
I got a Race built tranny A650E Valve body Upgrade, sprags and Lextreme TC 2800 Stall but i will just keep that for my GS and do the manual swap on the SC ,500+ whp will be fun to drive in manual trans.
I have so many parts in my garage so no room to put the old engine and trans, that's why i still haven't pull them out.
here are the gaskets

the TT brakes

here is the Built tranny and the L tuned Side skirts for the GS

Good progress. 900 for a gt35 sounds like a good deal.

Just curious but how much did the Race built tranny A650E Valve body Upgrade cost?

This is making me wanna follow you're footsteps for the GS all I need is the money, only mod I got is underdrive pulleys. lol

Yeah the GT35 is the deal of the year for 900$.
On your GS it will be A340E which is 4 speed O/D maybe about 2000$
And it all depends on what you wanna do with my GS i will do the the 2JZGTE VVTi swap cause my car already has the VVTi and i dont wanna loose it, with the GTE non VVTi i will have to relocate the motor mount brackets, which i dont wanna do i just wanna plug and play.
If you are not looking for more than 400whp you don't need a race built trans ,again if you don't let it slam in gears or don't beat on it just get a bigger tranny cooler and a 2800 stall TC and replace your rear end you good to go.
I have been lazy for a few days i am going under the car tonight ,i got the head of sunday night , i will try to pull the engine and tranny tonight maybe tomorrow ,This project has been moving slow this week and i have a lot cash tight up on some parts that i am not even using !!!! for the swap
I will have some update tomorrow

ok with lexus the 98/05 gs300 the trans are A650E which is a 5speed auto and 4 speed auto with O/D from 93/95 not sure about 96 and 97.
same thing with the sc300.
I am not sure about the the 400s, i guess cause i don't have one!!!
The manual trans in the sc300 w58 can't handle more than 500wrhp
The r154 mkIII supra Turbo from eighty's to 93 800rwhp
The w58 is in the non turbo Supra MKIII and MKIV
The V160 is the Big boy up to 1400 rwhp, from the 93.5 supra till 97 TT.
the V161 which i sthe same as the v160 for the 98 supra TT.
With my sc 300 i am going with the w58 i got a good deal on it ,let see what happen otherwise i will upgrade to the r154.
The Us R154 and JDM R154 are different!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the the US R154 u need to the 1JZ bell housing which is found in the JDM SC300 ,Chaser and extend the Shifter about an Inch to work in the SC300 or 400.
The JDM R154 will work the SC plug an play, same as the V160 and V161.
The V160 go from $5k to $7k brand new and will be the last tranny you will ever need.
