Talking 502MS | Project e39 540i (UPDATED)

Hello ladies & gents...I have been pretty mum on my 540i project, as many other things have been keeping me busy, and I felt a need to get back to wrapping this up.

For those of you that have not seen her before, here are some before pictures:

HIDs on (before lowering)

Since owning this car, I have done many things to it on the tip of making it stronger, enhanced reliability and performance. In the pictures above it is on 18x8 +20mm | 18x9.5 +20mm TSW Thruxton, H & R Springs/Koni Shocks, 5000k Xenons/Projectors & 5000k OEM Fogs (until a tire took my wife out on the way to ATL one night), and much more....

Well, now....time to show a little of what has happened lately...

Lightbulb so, let's start with the front...

I have been toying with the idea of FI on this car for some time. I have been debating on doing some kind of custom turbo, but may settle with a nice supercharger setup (custom). I really wanted to stuff a front mount up there, but it may not be as efficient as an aftercooler setup....we will see. But, IMO, this is a marked improvement over the stock front bumper. I will be installing M5 fogs with 5000k Xenon in the factory fog location once painted....

I was not kidding about the sanding...look @ the floor

Shaving the '540i' from the trunk too. No, don't worry. Not putting anything else back up there. Once this car is complete, it will be a shocker to those who do not understand (evil laugh), especially once boosted. Hmmm, maybe no FMIC will be a good thing after all.
