Audi RS6 sedan

Reports now indicate that the twin-turbo V10 580 horspower super-sedan will be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show this coming October. We can expect the sedan version to carry the same mechanicals as its wagon counterpart, however certain visual updates are expected to be shown on the top-of-the-line RS6 sedan before they trickle down to the entire A6 range.

Whoooah!!! I've had a hard-on for the RS6 since it was introduced! Great, if not the greatest, performance sedan (read the many reviews chumps!). On my way to NALM'08, I spotted one ahead and pulled up to him. We swapped lanes and glances at 85 mph for about 40 miles before I had to exit I-65. He caught my departure, flashed his lights and followed me down the exit. Wanted to look at the sedan, took a tour, and gave me props! His ride was amazing ... duh! Made my day!!

All other high profile performance sedans can step aside IMHO. The new RS6 will dominate in the category. M5? Pretender in this war.

MTM has already released tuning packages of up to 700hp for the RS6, and that's only using software and exhaust. When someone comes along with something more hardcore (ie cams or turbo upgrades), nothing in the family-hauler department will be even remotely close.

that's just too fan boy-ish for me.

Seems like they listened to the Internet Fanboys and made something totally illogical and useless. Something that will be basically a toy for sheiks and oil tycoons.
