Back to TOTAL Acura Family....

Soooo, without going into details, I just traded in the following 2005 Volvo XC90 T6 (inline twin turbo six-cylinder) ....

...for the following 2008 Acura MDX Steel Blue-on-Taupe....

...and am really happy with the switch so far ...

(1) More power (273 - to- 300 HP)
(2) Normally aspirated (new mountain retirement lot really makes the turbos whine to keep up the torque)
(3) XC90 T6 has greater-than-average transmission failures (can we say TL boys and girls?)
(4) Nicer electronic bells and whistles (e.g. Bluetooth, Ipod, etc.)
(5) SH-AWD!!!! An RL with towing capacity!!!!!!!
(6) It's an Acura .... case closed!!

No, I will be bringing the sedan to NALM ... rest assured.

Chapman, thanks for the kolor kudos. FYI, the retirement location is Black Mountain and I intend to make NC Legend meets in the future when I return to my roots .... Go Heels! Many years living in Durham/CH area!

Sounds good, I think another NC mountain meet will definitely be something to consider! Again, congrats on a nice looking Acura.

Very nice! I've been checking those out at the dealership when I'm waiting on my oil changes. I've been thinking about getting one when I decide to retire my sedan from daily driving.

Go Heels! Was able to save and transfer the stickers. Also saved an OBX sticker for the rear door window.
