Tadaaaaaaa.
Yeah I know that, but I thought the whole fundamental thought behind VTEC was to generate the normal horsepower when needed, and to save fuel when just driving around town?
So like they used to just run the more aggressive cams all the time, but in low RPM's that eats up fuel, so they installed the less aggressive cams so the engine could use less fuel.
So you are only getting the full power when you reach those high RPM's?
Damn you guys went kind of hard at the ricer. Listen man I feel for ya, ive lost a couple cars to stupid behavior, of course I buy all my own shyt,(so i dont have the parent problem) But it does seem that you learned a lesson, so thats good.

problem being is he said nothing about what he did and not to beat a dead horse but after reading this and seeing this i really dont care. that car looked like pepboys threw up on a fast and the furious car from the first movie. horrid. but dont come in here and make an open ended thread and not say what happend. hell i expeced to see the since his mom was mad at him maybe she caught him jerkin to her new copy of glamor, but i dunno
LMFAO^^^^^ I feel ya He def. should of wrote the whole damn story, AS if we are gonna judge him???? But maybe he did something extremely embarrassing and he didn't want to look like a total Dumbass on his first post, but for now we will assume he drove to LA just to jerk off to his mom's Glamour mag.

Yes you can actually feel when "Vtec" kicks in and the lobes switch. Thats on B series motors. Vtec on D series motors isn't as sophisticated and just uses "lost motion assemblies" that pump up with oil pressure and increase valve lift a little. I-Vtec is a combination of both.
You guys are wrooonnngg for hating on D series. They are good little motors especially now a days. At almost 200 pounds lighter they are a great turbo base up to 250hp without having to strengthen the block.
