Engine tucking

Tyson, you should read this thread.

I am really liking some of those custom strut bars. And there are some GREAT ideas and great information, too.

Oh yeah, there are 500+ pages.

Some examples:

i always liked the look of a wire tuck but a little scary if you run into electrical issues. those bays look hella clean though.

Hmmm, I'd have to add the vtec sticker on the fuel rail covers though.

Old news? Where, in A-L.com, can you show me anything about engine tucking? I've seen one thread here and no one really knows anything/said anything in that thread. And once again, I wasn't talking about just pics that I posted, but in the 500+ pages I looked through.

Jeez, with all the negative attitudes/commentary here lately, I'm beginning to HATE posting.

Thanks for making me drool over these engine bays, Mike . I would so love to have a clean engine compartment like that. It would be a breeze to detail. I think Max (ALoneR) may have shared something about this before, but it was probably forever ago. Still fun to look at these pics. Thanks for the link; maybe it'll give me some motivation to attempt something similar . Hope all's well with you!

Everything is well, thank you. I'm going to start tucking next month. Battery first, then some other things that I've been contemplating. I've been looking at a few things, and it doesn't really look *that* hard, or bad, for that matter. I just have to plan it all out

I hope you'll post up picts of your battery tuck / relocate. I've been thinking about that myself for some time now, ever since Kotetu got corner balanced.

Well, I'll be moving the battery to the trunk, more like getting 2 motorcycle dry cell batteries as opposed to the yellow top I have now. I've done some measurements and found a perfect place for them already. Since I'll be pulling the motor soon, I can take my time. It might be a bit difficult since I'll have to add some add'l wires for the 3.5, but I'm def. going to clean things up a bit. I did some fab work with some 1" thick plexiglass for my box build, so I feel pretty comfortable using it for my battery relocation
