Never liked the body on that Monte Carlo. I like the older models.

the 06-07 next to it has that v8 that cuts off half the cylinders on the highway. But the Monte Carlo SS is officially off Chevy's roster so it makes you wonder how good that engine really was/is??

She's very quick stock...roasts the tires even with traction on at light boost. With a pulley, intake, full exhaust, manual boost controller (MBR) and some tuning she should be good for 300whp (too bad she's FWD)

It's true in regular SS form, she's definitely not the looker of any bunch but in Tony Stewart edition form, something screams sexy about Nascar + supercharger

It's the end of the day, that made me laugh!

As much as I agree with you about the decals, thats what made it expensive and rare....only 1200 made...

The Monte SS never came supercharged. Only 3 SS models have the charger- the Intimidator, the Tony Stewart and the Dale Earnhardt. The Intimidator has the least of the decals, but also the rarest.

And yes, it is underpowered # wise for what it is...you would think a 3.8l V6 with a supercharger would command at least 300hp....but it will, soon
