![]() You've obviously never done a fun run with a G35 in your Legend if you think that's bashing. If G35's only pull 1.5 CL's on Type I Legends now, then that means I'd only pull like 3 cars or so on a Type I Legend in my E36... Feel free to ask blingting how much quicker my car is than his Legend (Type 2 IM & full Stromung catback all on a nicely refreshed motor).Enough thread jacking though. |

In all honesty on our way back from the dealership the g35 pulled 1.5 cars on the CL-S in a matter of 3 seconds.
Maybe it would catch up a bit in the topend, doubt it. Most Legends dont stand a chance. I was beat soundly by a 97' m3 manual sedan and 07' TL-S in the CL-S too. Hence the car change. ~Dv8

nice ride christan. good choice! i cant wait till some mods start comming. a stillen exhaust and intake, stillen intake manifold, short shifter and stage 2 clutch and you'll be in low 12's and high 11's. my buddy has a 350z with some mods, and he says he does low 12's with his 19" wheels! good luck, but can we get some legend action in here?

Wow, I love that G35, especially in that color, it just looks so menacing.
Oh shiet, does that 350Z, have NOS or FI, cause low 12'a is a helluva number to brag about.

that is a nice g35, I love the way those look. I like them better then the 350Z. does your g35 still have a tape deck?!? I wonder why they still make those things lol. no one i know has used a tape deck in years. i really like the new ride, can't wait to see what you do with it.

Thanks for the continued compliments!
This wont be a 1/4 mile machine, but I do want it to run a mid 13 seconds. This car should be in the mid to low 14 second range stock. I have an auto, however it shifts really well. It has a tape deck, for what I dont know either. Expect some bolt-ons and a few aesthetics. ~Dv8

Your buddy's feedin' you some SERIOUS BS with those times, man.No way a G35 with those bolt on's would get into the 12's, let alone 11's. They're quick cars, but not nearly that quick. |

Thats actually pretty interesting cause my best friend just got a Red 03 6MT. We did a couple of roles real quick(15-60) and getting onto the highway(30-90). Yes the G35 was quicker, but (at least with my mods) it was fairly close as he is stock. I had full tank of gas and he was on empty but he had a 160lbs passenger.
15-60 I'd say it was almost exactly even when we floored it. The legend shifted at 6700rpm and pulled maybe a foot, and then the G35 regained it before letting off - I'm no doubt he would have kept pulling slowly. Highway I practically stayed right with him. He was shocked. Albiet yes, its a new car for him. But he said he nailed the shifts(ditto the passenger).....*Shrugs*. -Ed
