Sweet VIP GS 300/400 On My Way Home!

Only able to get this close to him to get a picture:

I was right next to him before this about to take a good pic of the drivers side and the wifester called

This thing was beautiful - running lots of negative camber and fully tucking some stretched skins on deep-lipped rims. I've never really been a fan of the whole VIP scene, but that thing was beautiful.

I love VIP cars.

I was browsing through the latest super street at the store the other day and they have a whole section about VIP cars.

They look oh so clean.

VIP Style:
Originally appeared in Japan roughly 10 years ago when Japanese Syndicate Bosses started purchasing expensive luxury cars and then modifying them to their taste. These cars were mostly high-end Toyotas [known as Lexus in the United States], but also included Mercedes Benzs as well as a few Nissan models. As long as the car was expensive, 4 doors, and had a strong, signifying appearance, it was acceptable. Usually filled on the inside with luxury gadgets and the flagship symbol; the curtain shades on the rear windows to keep people from seeing who was being driven.

A few years after these cars became more rampant, the Japanese Tuning scene began to notice them. The mystery and elite status that surrounded these cars, as well as the fact that they were owned by Mob Bosses fascinated tuners, who emulated the style. By 2000, VIP style was in full-swing in Japan, and is characterized by expensive cars with expensive wheels lowered more than they probably should be.

In recent years VIP style has made its way over to America, and although many tuners are successful in recreating the Syndicate-Boss look, others fail when they think their lowered Accord with chrome rims qualifies.

I hope that clears it up a little

well it officially started with the Mercedes...all about the mercedes, and it's been around since the mid to late 80s (Yakuza Style)

They moved to the then current Glorias and Crowns...the Celsior didn't drop till later on, when the Celsior came out it was a huge hit since the Celsior was a domestically produced clone of the Mercedes Sclass that was before, the most popular car. That is, aside from the toyota Century (The ultimate of Japanese Luxury cars)

lol you totally disregarded the early VIP cars. A friend of mine's father was/is quite powerful and she was talking about how her mom went to Japan about 20-25 years ago with her, and they got picked up by a line of "VIP cars"

also, just to let you know VIP cars are NOT driven by bosses. They're typically the underlings or chinpara (little d*cks) of the yakuza. They are highenought o be getting paid well, but they are just pawns, the real bosses are in the new Centuries, the Rolls Royces/Bentleys and the Maybachs.

oh and VIP which is a spin off of the American acronym Very Important Person, is a word they use to label the people in the cars...Very Important Person...i.e. Mob Affiliates. THe Japanese have a Phonetic structure completely different from ours, so words they can't pronounce they modify, just like us. so V.I.P...imagine trying to say that and you don't have the V sound-BWE AI PUEE- so they changed it to "VIP" or "BEEP" simpler to say for them, but some people think they made the word up .
