I wish this would have happened last week when I bought my set. I asked about free shipping and the rep said that they did not offer free shipping.

hmm no sort of compensation? I know there are a few companies that make sure loyal customers don't feel shafted when they spent some good change on a product to find out price is cut soon after (iPhone) or in this case shipping becomes free. Just a suggestion.

I totally agree. My brother needs a new set of tires and I was going to send him in the same direction I chose by shopping with DTD, however I may tell him to get the tires locally and support a business that cares about customer satisfaction.

Of course we care about our customers, we probably care more about our customers than any company that I have ever deal for any product with and I can honestly say that from personal experience, not just because I work here. Did you know that when firestone and ford had an issue with their tires blowing out that Discount Tire, (who doesn't even carry the brand) replaced customers tires for FREE. We didn't charge for installation or disposal or anything. All you had to do was drive to one of our stores if your Explorer still had the stock Firestone tires and you would walk out with a free set of fully installed tires. If you have been a customer for a while and you have every had to make a claim or had a problem with any one of our product I wouldn't have to tell you that we care about our customers.

I can't promise anything on a reimbursement but I can try. Our prices last week we the lowest on the internet so I know you didn't get shafted. Did you order online or did you place your order over the phone? Did you mention this site when you purchased? PM your name and the phone number you used when you placed your order.

FromaQ, this should be a permanent offer. I will tell you all right now that our prices are going up next week, if you are looking to buy tires buy them now before the prices go back up. We won't be offering the price we are offering today next week and we won't be reimbursing the difference. Our cost is going up.

I pulled up Emaculate's order and took it to our sales manager because emaculate was already given $50.00 off his order even though it was purchased after our $50.00 off promotion had ended, we are not able to give him any additional discounts for this purchase. Had he purchased at normal price, today we would have credited back his shipping.

Just FYI, you should not advertise for $50 off a set of tires when the deal is over. Just look at the top of this screen. Everytime I sign on I see the $50 off deal. Very misleading if you ask me.

If you are taking about the Goodyear banner. Our corporate is building new banners that should be up next week. They had to put them on hold to make sure everything was working with the free shipping first. If you are talking about the thread.
