3.5 wiring

So, according to the DIY, the RL wiring harness gets tossed. Does that mean I can try to find a "JDM engine only" from any random used import engine place?

ummm what?

Use your old harness. then swap the water passage(coolant) or your old type 1 intake completely over and your good to go.

Ewwww I like I need a tranny, Yes use your Legend harness but you will still need the TDC wiring from the RL harness if you wanna make an adapter without cutting your existing harnesses TDC sensor wire (I think) but also Yes you can find a JDM RL engine not sure what the differences are or even if there are any but that is what I have in my car. There is also another wire that will possibly need to be extended and brought over from the other side I am trying to remember what it is I believe it is the coolant temp sensor on the water passage
