ADDCO Front AND Rear Sway Bars
Many of you want a rear bar before buying a front.
Have you tried calling ADDCO? I missed the rear G/B, called, and got one right away. I will call them tomorrow, (11/ 5). I'll be asking for a decision on a front bar G/B AND will ask about a 2nd run on the rear bar also. What I need to know is, do you want the rear bar, whether we get the front bar, or not? OR is the rear bar dependant on a front bar G/B? Lee aka,(sleeprlegendcp) has requested a 10 & 10 order on the bars...... I copied his request below: " sleeprlegendcp: I am interested in purchasing 10 front and 10 rear sway bars. Please let me know a price for that quantity. I might be interested in more. Later! Lee" Adding this to our poll gives us some decent buying power!!! |

I missed the GB, and am interested in a rear bar. I would also probably be interested in a front bar, but it depends when it's finished and when the GB is. College students like me tend to be a little short on $$ around this time.

The ADDCO employees I need to speak w/ won't be back until Monday.
They still have 4 rear bars available!!!! Call the NC, 800 sales number. If we need more than 4, let me know ASAP, so I can ask about more rear bars on Monday!!! PLEASE tell them Rupert's Automotive sent you! I don't make a single cent off of them, BUT it will help get the front bar G/B! Fred Rupert PS: Lee @ sleeprlegendcp has withdrawn his 10 & 10 order, any help here would be greatly appreciated! ![]() |

Lee,
I appologized to you PRIVATELY! Now I'm doing so PUBLICLY! You did not ask me NOT to publisize your order until AFTER I had done so, and I told you BEFORE I did it, that I would... How can you accuse me of doing the opposite of what you wanted???? You are not MY customer, I've BEEN tryring to tell you that!!! My company is doing this for the CLUB! I am NOT making ONE SINGLE RED CENT off this purchase, so how can I make you an extra, extra discount? Are you in for the G/B or not? Please post your intentions in the forum! Fred |

I'm shipping my front bar to ADDCO for a G/B price!
They understand that we want our cars to be more rear bias than stock, and suggested a solid bar, the same size as the current, hollow one. This 'should' eliminate the need for custom end links. I will keep you posted, PLEASE stand by. Fred |

Front Bars, $149.00, up to 100 pcs.
No bushings included, our bushings will fit, endlink tabs will be pressed thinner than 'typical', to fit our endlinks. More rear bars can be made, I think $130.00 ea, includes poly bushings. We need REAL order numbers, seperate for front and rear. Fred Rupert |

Fred, I would suggest you get ADDCO to make a prototype and do a test fit & run before any orders are placed. After the rear GB fiasco, buyers are going to be leery. Just a suggestion...

Not as easy as the rear was. LOTS of stuff in the way on that front suspension.

Indeed, much is in the way. Can anyone describe
a more step-by-step install process? I am already holding reserve because the Legend steers neturally w/ the rear sway in-tact. Why would anyone return to understeer? k.h.

Keith, I'm with ya. That's why I want to see a prototype and some testing done. Suspension geometry is not something to dick around with if you don't know/understand what you are doing.

Let's move ALL ADDCO discussion to "Front Sway-bar from ADDCO"
Under Engine & Performance Mods.... Is that OK w/ everyone? A test bar is in-process, I specifically asked for a more rear bias than the stock setup, ADDCO knows what they're doing. Suspension goemetry is unaffected by a sway bar, changing the ride height changes the geometry. Thanks, Fred |
