D2 Racing Coilovers

Has anyone ever used D2 Racing Coilovers in a Legend? In a manufacturers webpage there is said that one can be bought for a Legend 91-95. Any experience about this kit?

I believe that D2 and Ksport are the same, so essentially your buying the Ksports.

I know D2 is big with the drifters. I wonder if they're pink?

I believe that's true as well, their BBK's are identical.

Thank you all for this valuable info. I guess it is safe to buy D2:s then. I visited the ksports website and it looked like that all other items too looked exactly like D2:s. So it seems like Ksports and D2:s come from the same manufacturer from asia. Thanks again for this info!

In europe they cost some under 1000 euros. Depending on where you buy them.

D2, Ksport, AMR, Function and Form, etc etc are all some of the cheap generic "jdm" coilovers made by one manufacturer in Taiwan, simply repackaged and relabeled for each company to market as their own custom product. Verify with any dealer or distributor who knows and is willing to tell you the truth.

These types of coilovers are famous for marketing rediculous levels of adjustment (36? useless), but on an actual shock dyno the adjustments prove to be non linear, inconsistent, and not significantly affecting damping force.

All that said, unless you want to spend significantly more on quality custom suspension, it's not like we have any other comparable options in the same price range. K-sports and the like can be had in the sub $700 range if you know where to look.

Works great!
The 32 way adjustability is not at all 32ways. Doesnt even click. Its 4 full turns per shock. Does do a great job adjusting, you can feel a difference from 0-2-4. in between those adjustments I havent tried. Having these coilovers is night and day comparing them to a set of Konis with any spring. Comparing them to Jics is not fair because theyre not rebound adjustable.

Highly satisfied for the price!

I finally bought D2 Racing Coilovers for Legend. The kit is numbered D2-H110. Box says that same coilovers are used in some Accord models. In manufacturers page they said that kit is European Accord Type-R model. All four shocks went easily in their place and are acting very well. The shocks are 36 way adjustable and there is noticeable click for every step. It is softer than koni&eibach kombo when set to full soft and really hard (track day hard) when setting to full hard.

I really like the feeling of the kit and the adjustments are very simple to do.
