just reading this makes me wanna do the 3.5 swap instead of fixing the BHG cause I actually think it would be cheaper. 3.5 FTW!

I am having the 3.5L swap done on my 95 L Automatic sedan next weekend, or the following week, depending on the arrival of the hybrid mount from jkurl. My mechanic will be using the DIY instructions on the first page, and will be using the complete RL long block. My question is do I have to port and polish the intake manifold? Or will I be alright if we just get the long block and follow the DIY. I realize that improving the airlflow will be beneficial, and I will do that later on. Right now I just need to get the car running, and I wonder if stock-everything will hurt the the engine or transmission. Thanx for the DIY, by the way. My car is up on the lift and I'm trying to get the upper most bolt/nut off the joint pipe. Its connected to the oem header and its not going anywhere? Any ideas? I've PB blasted, waited, and I have all air tools but its at an angle just out of reach for an extension. PLEASE HELP, again its on the lift and in the middle of dropping the motor out of the bottom. Tips or tricks???
