"The last one screwed me up because I already had the engine installed. You do not need to do this, but you can if you want. On the LEGEND passenger side valve cover, there is a sensor at the rear of the valve cover. The RL valve cover has this bung closed off. You'll need to drill, tap, and thread the back of the valve cover if you want to install that sensor."
So, if the bung is left closed, what do you do with the line that led up to the sensor in the legend? Anything else to take care of? |

Check the code, I'm betting your code is EGR, which is the same thing I have, and I can't figure it out.
The sensor is a temp sensor, which might have been the reason I was running so rich on the dyno. If it was showing too cold, it could be increasing the amount of fuel the injectors are giving the engine. Future dyno runs will tell me more.

So do you think I should swap the right valve cover from the legend over?

PM Kenso and have him forward it to me so I can add it to the DIY. He should have access to it.

I bought the EMS for future use. I'm daily driving the car until the end of summer, then my real project should start. I have a Type II ECU that I'm going to have chipped for another 3.5 project I'm working on. I'll go with Telion because SR5guy says he won't do them anymore.

So, I know the differential handles how the wheels spin when making a turn, but whats the differences between the 3.2 and 3.5 diffs? The 3.5 will work with the Legend tranny, but it may have some drawbacks(?), at least for an AT.
I've had a kind of bogged down feeling since the swap was done, its most noticable when you're at freeway speeds and take your foot off the gas completely. Putting your foot back on lightly will give a light jolt. D-Money, the only other 3.5 auto I know of, has confirmed he has a similar bogged down feeling and his mech used the 3.5 diff as well. Are we hurting the tranny and/or diff? |

Probably not hurting it. Maybe it has more backlash than the 3.2 diff. I'm not 100% sure. All Legends seem to have that bit of a bog when you let out of the gas. A lot of that has to do with the condition of your mounts as well as the drivetrain setup. How's the accelleration?
