I havn't had the chance to come to the forums in the last week and when I come back, I see this???

I'm glad the gears of innovation here keep turning! Great job Christian! May I ask what clutch you decided to use? I know you would have upgraded that clutch before putting it in!!

So what ever hapenned to the need for "consistant" times eh?

I'm sure with enough practice you'd get consistant enough! What's nicer is you are now putting alot more power to the wheels plus the gearing ratios of the 6-speed are a big plus when it comes to acceleration.

Don't kill the synros too fast from all that power shifting.

After initial drives, i have come to certain conclusions.

My conclusions aren't complete, because i havent completed the electrical side of the swap yet, however it still runs quite good.

1st gear is alright, but i expected more get up and go. 2nd 3rd and 4th are great. The Spec stage 3 clutch grabs instantly. Clutch engagment is way high, and the clutch doesnt like to be feathered, you just need to drop it and apply the right amount of fuel. There is clutch chatter and wavy engagement in low gears, but if your a real car guy then you wont mind. the chatter is real bad in reverse and so is the wavy engagement. Feels like the cars louder, it can have the raspy tone up high in the rpms, the VIS systems now starts at 4500+ rather than 4k with the auto.

Since its been raining i havent really be able to do much, however i can honestly say that at full throttle the car will chirp 4th, due to how hard the clutch grabs and my amount of torque.

Any questions? Concerns?

a guy by the name of James (spoonLegend) had LSD in his coupe. we raced earlier this year on the highway, and his car just kicked the **** out of mine through the turns, i could hang when we were goin in a straight line due to my car being a type2. but LSD seems to be a great mod to help get the power to the ground more efficiently. where can i get a real LSD like spoonLegend's???

You know that guy claimed to have all this stuff done and ended up being caught up in his own lies. He also claimed 279 HP, I thought he came back as TypeRKon, but they're two different idiots.
